Paint and Play School was
established in 1971 by a group
of mothers who wanted their children
to have a smooth transition to
kindergarten. It was the first
academic preschool in the area.

The original enrollment of 30
students has grown through the
years. Presently the school is
able to educate 74 students in
four classes: one 5 year old
class, two 4 year old classes,
and one 3 year old class.
