Carol Anne Hallinen Smith,
B.S. in Early Childhood Education, Clarion
University, is in her 15th year as teacher
at Paint and Play School.
Additionally Mrs. Smith is a Kids in
College instructor for Penn State DuBois
and is also the coordinator of the
Interactive Play Program for Clearfield and
DuBois. She has taught at the Children's
School of Carnegie Mellon University's
Summer Program and is a certified
D.A.S.H. (Developmental Approaches to
Science and Health) and Box it Bag it
Math certified teacher.
She maintains an active PA teaching
certificate by attending continuing
education events such as the Governor's
Institute for Mathematics (2002, 2003,
2004, 2005), the Governor's Institute for
Early Childhood Literacy (2003,2005) and
the Governor's Early Childhood Literacy
Academy (2004). She is C.P.R. Certified
and a member of Kappa Delta Pi.
Peggy Wilson,
B.S. in Early Childhood Education,
Clarion University, is in her 15th year as
teacher / director. Her children attended
Paint and Play School and she had been
a teacher's aide before pursuing her
degree.
Mrs. Wilson is a Kids in College
instructor for Penn State DuBois.
She maintains an active PA teaching
certificate by attending continuing
education events such as the Governor's
Institute for Mathematics (2002, 2003,
2004, 2005), the Governor's Institute for
Early Childhood Literacy (2003, 2005)
and the Governor's Early Childhood
Literacy Academy (2004). She is C.P.R.
Certified and a member of Delta Kappa
Gamma and Kappa Delta Pi.
