Carol Anne Hallinen Smith joins us in her 18th year as teacher.
Mrs. Smith is a St. Mary’s native. She resides in Weedville, with her husband and her Siamese cats.
In addition she teaches at Kids in College at PSU DuBois.
Mrs. Smith graduated Cum Laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education.
Mrs. Smith has served as the Clearfield County Society of Handicapped and Disabled Citizens’ Interactive Play Program Coordinator for Clearfield and DuBois for 15 years.
Smith is a certified Box It- Bag It Math and K-1 D.A.S.H. teacher.
Mrs. Smith was also selected to attend the Governor’s Institute for Early Childhood Educators, (July 03,05,08) the Governor’s Institute for Mathematics Educators (July ‘02-’05),
Governor’s Early Childhood Literacy Academy (8-04).
Administration
Administration
Paint and Play School Board of Directors provides administration of the school.
The members are responsible for the legal and financial operation of the school.
These individuals are current and former parents as well as members of the community at large who are interested in the continual growth, development, and support of the school.
Questions concerning registration, tuition payments, snack lists, and fundraising should be referred to the appropriate board member. Currently enrolled parents recieve a list of these members, their positions, and their contact information at the begining of the school year.

Mrs. Wilson
Peggy Wilson joins us in her 18th year as our teacher.
Mrs. Wilson is a DuBois native and a proud grandmother of 2.
Mrs. Wilson is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Wilson has a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is also an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
In addition she teaches at Kids in College at Penn State DuBois.
Mrs. Wilson was also selected to attend the Governor’s Institute for Early Childhood Educators, (July 03,05,08) the Governor’s Institute for Mathematics Educators (July ‘02-’05), Governor’s Early Childhood Literacy Academy (Aug ‘04).
